I simply don't understand Eloise's instant flip on Cressida, who did make a mistake, but it was so so clearly out of desperation. Eloise literally heard her say her plan, which was to get the money in order to escape the marriage proposal her parents planned. A great example of what I couldn't understand didn't happen is when Violet and Agatha talked like an episode later. She was all on Violet's shit until Violet noticed something was wrong and pushed. Eloise stopped making the effort to empathize with Cressida and I really don't get why. Their friendship to me seemed to be all about making the effort for each other, but it so abruptly stopped then. I was really disappointed by it.
